VetsAid aims to raise awareness and funds for high impact
veterans nonprofits and intentionally changes locations every year to elevate
the conversation around veterans across the nation. Each year, grant recipients
are selected on a national and a local level to ensure the needs of all
veterans and military families are being met.
VetsAid invests in programs that help our service members,
veterans, military families, and families of the fallen thrive.
THE 2025 GRANTS CYCLE IS NOW OPEN!
Thank you for your interest in a grant from VetsAid. This year's grant focus is on Kansas veterans and families of the fallen.
VetsAid is prioritizing grants from qualified 501(c)3 organizations that have operations on the ground or are able to demonstrate how you will serve Kansas veterans and military families through your programs.
To apply, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- represent a nonprofit organization recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 tax-exempt organization (individuals are not eligible),
- your organization must have been incorporated for more than 2 years as of September 1, 2025,
- your organization remains in good standing with the IRS,
- you are seeking funds for a program or service that directly supports veterans, service members and/or their families.
There are two grant categories:
1- Large/National
2- Community
The purpose of the community grants is to ensure that smaller organizations meeting the needs of the community have a chance to be highlighted and rewarded for their great work. Community grants will specifically focus on organizations incorporated in Kansas and MUST be serving veterans and military families in the state. Additionally, your average annual revenue for the last two years has been LESS than $250,000.
After completing the application, a copy will be emailed to you. If you cannot upload any documents, please email them to: vetsaidgrants@gmail.com
Incomplete forms will not be considered. Applications must be received by October 1st, 2025 for consideration. Earlier submissions are encouraged.
**VetsAid Grant recipients awarded consecutively the past two years must allow one grant cycle (1 year) before reapplying.
Final decisions for grantees will be made in October and grantees will be notified in advance of the show. You can request a specific amount of funding but the final amount awarded will be determined by VetsAid. If you have a specific need, submitting a dollar amount in your program request is helpful. Funds are traditionally dispersed in early January.
For additional questions email vetsaidgrants@gmail.com. Please note we receive a lot of inquiries and we will do our best to get back to you.
